This conference offers a meaningful and immersive experience for anyone wishing to engage in reconciliation, particularly those interested in learning about the research, location, and documentation of burial sites connected to the former Youville Residential School. Through participation, attendees will gain a deeper appreciation for the cultural and spiritual importance of memorializing the children who died and honoring the return of those being brought home.

Building on the understanding, rooted in Youville’s history, it will highlight survivor experiences, local history, community led initiatives, and key note speakers and presentations that further amplify survivor voices and experiences from other communities. It provides a reflective space to foster reconciliation in line with TRC Calls to Action 74-76.
